Delete your account

You can have your account permanently deleted from this page. Even if you have removed the app from your phone, you can sign in here and request deletion.

#How it works

1. You sign in with your email and password.
2. We ask for your password once more, so that no one else can start this in your name.
3. Your request is accepted and waits for 7 days.
4. At the end of the seventh day the permanent deletion runs.

You can change your mind within 7 days. Your account works normally during that time; you can sign in and take the request back. Once the waiting period has passed, the request can no longer be stopped.

#What is deleted

• your account and your sign-in details;
• all of your messages;
• what the character remembers and everything that stayed between you;
• the character itself and the relationship as it stands today;
• your preferences such as quiet hours, your device registration and notification token;
• your safety event records.

There is no archive and no undo. Once the deletion has run you cannot reach the same character again.

#What remains afterwards

Only two things remain:

• The deletion request record — compliance evidence that the deletion actually happened.
• De-identified model call accounting — an operational record that counts how many calls were made; it is not linked to you.

No row tied to you remains in any other table.

#If you want a copy first

You can download all of your data in a single file from inside the app: Settings → Your data → "Download my data". Once the deletion has run, that file can no longer be produced.
